Juneteenth: The Case for Repair

The WWA’s 2nd Annual Juneteenth program will build on the success of last year’s event to continue to educate our community on the history and meaning of Juneteenth. At this year’s program we will provide a short recap of accomplishments made in the areas of racial equity in our County; we will discuss the inequities that continue to exist today (as highlighted in the WWA Status of Women Report Update); and we will look at how and what forms reparations for African Americans in this country could take in order to build a road to repair.
