Jourdon Delerme-Brown '21. As successful student-athletes, Ferdinand and Sanchez discuss their struggles at Middlebury, how they thrived in certain environments and what support they wished they had to make their experience better.
Leaning Into Discomfort with Middlebury Athletics is sponsored by the athletics Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and aims to have uncomfortable conversations surrounding topics such as race and identity. The hope is that the series will normalize some of these taboo topics, while we learn and grow stronger together as a community.
