JDS Conference Registration: JDS events are free and open to the public, but
if you would like to make a voluntary conference donation, please feel free to do so. Let us know you are coming by filling out the form below. Please note that space for the portion of our program at Hull House is space-limited, so
pre-registration is a must.
JDS Membership: We ask that all
presenters at JDS events become members. Fees for JDS membership are
based on a sliding scale relative to income. To join or renew your membership, please visit our website.
Donations: For this conference, JDS is sponsoring three funds that members can donate to if they wish.
- JDS General Fund - in support of our conferencing programing
- Land Tax -
all proceeds from which will go to the Native American Support Program
at the University of Illinois Chicago (home of Hull House)
- Graduate Student Support Endowed Fellowship - in support emerging scholars of Dewey
PES Conference Registration (Voluntary): JDS members may participate in all JDS and PES sessions held at the Palmer House including the Friday PES General Session and the Saturday Kneller Lecture by Elizabeth Anderson. However, PES breakfast, coffee break and receptions are not available except to those who actually register for PES. We strongly encourage those who are not already PES members and who are attending the Friday (3
rd) and Saturday (4
th) sessions at the Palmer House to register for PES at a discounted cost by contacting
