Scope of Collection

Oral history interviews describing the immigrant experiences of Kingston area residents recorded through a collaborative project led by the Reher Center and the Kingston Library. The interviews were conducted by students from Bard College under the direction of Assistant Professor of Sociology and Environmental and Urban Studies, Peter Klein, using a question framework established in partnership with members of Vida Real, LGBTQ Community Center, A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center, Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, Humanamente, and the Ulster County Italian American Foundation.
