This week is National Farm Worker Awareness Week. 2.6 million farmworkers are on farms and ranches in the U.S., performing hard and skilled labor 365 days a year through every kind of weather. They keep operations running and play a vital role in the food supply chain. Farmworkers deserve our appreciation along with safe and respectful workplaces every day, not just this week. NCAT is committed to continue working with partners across the U.S. not only to amplify the vital role farmworkers play, but also to ensure sustainable solutions that reduce poverty, strengthen self-reliance, and protect natural resources. Check out Equitable Food Initiative to learn more.
