  • Posted career-bests in scoring average (4.9 ppg), field goals made (75) and attempted (118), field-goal percentage (.636), total assists (24), total steals (15) and total blocks (10).
  • Started UT's NCAA Tournament second-round game vs. Duke (3/18/23) and set the tone early with his physical play; he finished with three rebounds, two steals and an assist in Tennessee's 65-52 triumph over the Blue Devils.

  • Led Tennessee in rebounding nine times and was the first Vol off the bench 10 times, prior to being inserted into the starting lineup.
  • Surpassed his minutes total from the 2020-21 season (71) in just eight games this season.
  • Had a nine-point, nine-rebound effort against Michigan (3/19/22) in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32.
  • Scored six points on 3-for-4 shooting and had eight rebounds in the SEC Tournament semifinal win over #5 Kentucky (3/12/22).

  • Had a positive assist/turnover ratio and committed only two total turnovers in his 70+ minutes of action.
  • Earned his first start of the season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Oregon State (3/19/21), pulling in three rebounds and scoring one point.
  • Played a season-high 17 minutes off the bench in the SEC Tournament semifinals against Alabama (3/13/21), recording four points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal while filling in for the injured John Fulkerson.
  • Gave the Vols five quality minutes off the bench in the SEC quarterfinal win over Florida (3/12/21).
  • Recorded two points, two offensive rebounds and an assist in the win over South Carolina (2/17/21).

2019-20 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN

  • Shot .421 from the field and averaged 2.6 points in 16 appearances following the midseason approval of his NCAA appeal for eligibility relief.
  • During SEC play, he averaged 2.8 points and 1.0 rebounds.
  • Was incredibly efficient in the Vols' road matchup at Arkansas (2/26/20), scoring eight points, finishing 2-of-2  from the field and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe in six minutes off the bench.
  • Earned his first career start at Mississippi State (2/1/20), where he tied for the team lead in scoring with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field; Tennessee's starting lineup in that game featured four different nationalities.
  • Saw 11 minutes of action off the bench in his Thompson-Boling Arena debut, scoring four points in UT's win over Ole Miss (1/21/20).
  • Played 17 minutes off the bench, tallying five points and three rebounds in his collegiate debut against Georgia (1/15/20).
  • His waiver for immediate eligibility was initially denied by the NCAA, but on Jan. 14, 2020, the NCAA's Committee for Legislative Relief ruled him eligible to compete immediately.
  • He was inactive for the first 15 games of the 2019-20 season.
  • On Nov. 25, 2019, he was granted a travel waiver by the NCAA, enabling him to join his teammates on road trips.
  • Enrolled at UT in May of 2019 as a transfer from Arizona State. 

2018-19 - REDSHIRT (ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY)

  • Redshirted the 2018-19 season.
  • Scored three points and grabbed a rebound in three minutes of action off the bench during ASU’s exhibition win over Arizona Christian (10/30/18).

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Graduated from Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he was coached by Zach Ferrell.
  • First moved to the United States in October 2017 and averaged 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds while leading Hamilton Heights to a 28-7 record and the NACA Division I national championship in his lone season there as a senior in 2017-18.
  • Listed in the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s 21st-ranked center in the Class of 2018 and the fifth-ranked prospect in the state of Tennessee.
  • Part of a four-man Arizona State signing class that was ranked 14th in the country.

  • Born December 22, 1998, in Cacak, Serbia
  • Son of Rajka and Goran Plavsic
  • Just the sixth 7-footer in program history and the first since Steve Hamer (1992-96).
  • Is the first Tennessee basketball player from Serbia.
  • Played on the Belgrade-based BC Mega Leks junior team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the Euroleague championships.
  • He has competed against fellow Serbian and NBA All-Star Nikola Jokic, as well as Croatian NBA center Ivica Zubac.
  • Earned his degree in Recreation & Sport Management in August of 2022 and is now pursing a master's degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication
  • Recipient of the Ray & Dana Mears Athletic Scholarship Endowment
