Kristi Wisdom: Founder & President
Kristi is our visionary and chief changemaker. Her generous spirit and personal dedication to the organizations and causes she cares for is an inspiration to everyone around her. She was one of the founding members of the Food for Greater Elgin food pantry in her community and she has served on the board of the local Boys & Girls Club of America for nearly five years. Kristi, together with her husband Jeff, has been actively building the Foundation for more than a decade and she’s committed to finding even more areas of growth in the years to come.
Jeff Wisdom: Founder & Treasurer
Jeff is our fearless leader whose passion for connecting people and ideas made him one of the foremost business leaders of his time. While growing a fifth-generation family business, Jeff sought to create change outside of the corporate world and focus his efforts on those most in need of support: the children in his community. Over the years, together with his wife Kristi, Jeff has built relationships with organizations who exist to help children thrive.
Heather Kirsebom: Board Member and Program Director
Heather is the heartbeat of our organization. Her educational background in public health and professional background of business development, sales, and fundraising, makes her perfectly suited for managing all of the Foundation’s initiatives. Heather works closely with our partner organizations to maximize the impact our programs have on children, families, and communities. She’s personally moved by giving opportunities that have the potential to create a ripple effect of generosity and positive change.
McKenzie Wisdom: Board Member & Marketing Lead
McKenzie has traveled the world gaining perspective on how we can contribute to communities all over in sustainable & impactful ways. Having traveled to 35 countries, over 250 cities, and 6 continents, McKenzie will continue to be a core catalyst for extending the Foundation globally to children and families across cultures of all kinds. Passionate about environmental sustainability and racial & gender equality, McKenzie is dedicated to creating meaningful change at systemic levels and bringing new issues to the forefront of the Wisdom Family Foundation’s work.
Hannah Wisdom: Board Member
Hannah believes in empowering children with the emotional and economic support they need to pursue their dreams. Particularly passionate about empowering young women, Hannah is dedicated to encouraging girls to realize their full potential, and hopes to spread her passion for gender equality throughout the world. Hannah currently lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she has expanded the Foundation’s work to local communities where she resides.
Lily Wisdom: Board Member
Lily is devoted to building a more caring world by helping children grow into their best selves. For nearly four years, she has been a small group leader at her church serving K-1 students. This summer, Lily will be a counselor for Barefoot Republic, a camp focused on connecting children from a diverse array of backgrounds and nations and inspiring them to see differences as strengths and grow in their faith.
