All university personnel (academic staff, faculty, and university staff) play an important role in recommending policies to the administration in many areas, as well as addressing employee and academic related issues through resolutions and policies. Topics shared governance may address include:
- Academic and curricular policies and issues
- Personnel policies and issues
- Policies or practices that adversely affects marginalized communities such as individuals with disabilities, students/faculty/staff of color, the economically disadvantaged, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community at UWSP.
If there is a current UWSP policy or academic or curricular issue that you would like reviewed by appropriate members of shared governance, please contact the Common Council Office, or the Common Council Chair.
