Detroit, Michigan Doula of Color Training Scholarship Application
This training is funded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Doula Initiative

Scholarship Requirements: 
  • Must be a Michigan resident
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Cannot have already completed doula training
  • Must be interested in becoming a Medicaid enrolled provider
  • Be able to attend full training in Detroit, Michigan

This Full Spectrum of Color Doula Training is sponsored by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Doula Initiative, training organized by Birthworkers of Color Collective, and facilitated by Stevie Merino.

This is a 4 full day live in-person intensive training Thursday April 25th - Sunday April 28th, 10am-5:30pm daily. There will also be additional self paced virtual learning.

*Stipends available for all participants upon completion of full training.
**Limited spots available.
***Training facilitated in English with translation services available. If there are language needs please email us.***
