Tyee Chess Club is organized and led by high school students who are providing Tyee students with an opportunity to play, learn, and improve in chess. Weekly meetings will contain fun casual games, optional lessons, online tournaments, resources for competitive players, and snacks. Students will have the opportunity to apply their skills and compete in the WA Middle School Championship in addition to playing casual chess games at Tyee.

The 2022–2023 Reflection’s theme is Show Your Voice!
The Reflections program is sponsored by National PTA to promote and encourage artistic creativity. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their creative talents in a nationally acclaimed student recognition program. Reflections program invites Tyee students to submit original works of art in one or all the available arts categories. Submission deadline is end of October 2022. Students can submit original works of art in one or all the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
