WHAT: Roaring Rainbow: Found Family was a rockin’ all-ages online benefit concert with music and joy from LGBTQ+ performers and creators. After raising over $14k for charity our first year, we’re back again with sleigh bells on!

WHEN: The live show was Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at 2:00 PM PT.

WHERE: This show was streamed online! After purchasing a ticket, you will be sent a private link to watch the show one-week prior to the event.

WHY: As you probably know, transgender youth are extremely vulnerable to attacks and anti-trans legislation. 100% of ticket sales are donated to two organizations that provide trans families with legal, educational and emotional resources: The National Center for Transgender Equality and TransFamilies.

Thank you for another great event!

Who Does It Benefit?

  • “NCTE was founded in 2003 by transgender activists who recognized the urgent need for policy change to advance transgender equality”… “we set out to accomplish what no one had yet done: provide a powerful transgender advocacy presence in Washington, DC.”

NCTE envisions a society in which transgender people not only survive, but thrive, with accepting families and communities, full self-determination over their identities and bodies, and freedom from disrespect, discrimination and violence.

For this vision to become a reality, we must also create equity, equal opportunity, safety, health, and economic well-being for all people over their entire lifetimes.”

  • “Trans Families is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting transgender people and their families since 2008. Formerly called Gender Diversity, we are also the force behind the annual conference Gender Odyssey. We run parent support groups, a trans youth leadership program, special topics groups, a youth support group.

Trans Families is committed to building community where connections are scarce. Families of gender diverse children often feel a sense of personal isolation, challenges finding accurate resources, and an inability to make connections with other families who have shared experiences.

[Our mission is that] Trans Families inspires hope, increases understanding, and creates a visible pathway to support trans and gender-diverse children and all those who touch their lives.”
