JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — James City County Police said a missing 49-year-old woman was found safe Monday afternoon.
49-year-old Lisa Kavitz was found after police personnel and dogs searched the walking trail around Discovery Park Boulevard in New Town Monday afternoon.
Police said Kavitz had last been seen around 6 p.m. Sunday at the end of Discovery Park Boulevard on the walking trail.
According to reports, she was last seen wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants and was barefoot.
Officials said Kavitz suffers from a medical condition which poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
Police announced around 4:45 p.m. that she had been found.
