Firebird Fitness Challenge May 11 - 14, 2020

What is The Firebird Fitness Challenge?

We are so sad that IKES Field Day is cancelled this year. Nothing can replace IKES Field Day! It truly is one of the best days of the year, and the IKES coaches do a great job planning it.

Since we cannot have field day, your specials teachers and Mrs. Lewis created a digital version called Firebird Fitness Challenge. We created fun and active challenges to complete while we are still required to practice social distancing. You can complete these challenges with your family. To complete each challenge, click on the challenge below. Read the directions, watch the tutorial videos (if available), and click submit. Some submissions require you to keep track of your time, while other submissions require a video recorded through Flipgrid.

Remember, you do not have to complete all of the challenges; you can complete as many or as few as you would like.

Please remember to always be safe and get permission when completing any of these challenges.

Is participation required?

Participation is not required. You can do as many of the challenges as you would like to earn points for your homeroom and your house!

How will I be scored?

All submissions will be scored and tallied. Points will be awarded to homerooms and houses.

How do I participate?

To get started, review the challenges below and click to get started! Don't forget to be safe and practice social distancing.

When can I complete the challenges?

You can start submitting challenges as soon as Friday, May 8th. All challenges must be completed by Thursday, May 14th at 10:00 AM. Scores will be tallied on Thursday afternoon, and winners will be announced on Friday, May 15th.
