I am Shahrzad Haddadan, an Assistant Professor in the school of Management Sciences and Information Systems at Rutgers Business School.  

I obtained a PhD degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College privileged to be supervised by Prof. Peter Winkler. After that and before joining Rutgers, I was a postdoctoral researcher at la Sapinza, a guest researcher at Max-Planck Institut fur Informatik, and a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University.

My research program concentrates on the mathematical modeling in discrete domains; the goal of such mathematical modeling is the development of rigorous algorithms with theoretical performance guarantees.
