Introduction to Originality with the AI Indicator
With the advent of ChatGPT and other widely available AI-assisted writing tools, many instructors have questions. In this session we will share newest features about the AI Indicator, as well as introduce you to the new features you may not know about with the Originality add on--and our goal is to leave you with resources which will help you in your teaching. If you have not used the AI indicator recently or if you have attended an introductory session before, this is the perfect session for you!
Next Steps: Evaluating Papers Flagged by the AI Indicator
What happens after the AI indicator has flagged a paper as potentially containing generative AI content? This session is for instructors who already have a functional grasp of the ins and outs of the AI indicator, and could benefit from the example of a working model of paper evaluation designed to highlight other signals of AI, as part of a contextualized review of student papers. May 2 and 3 time slots are still available. (Note: If you have not used the AI indicator previously or if you have not attended the introductory session to the AI indicator, we recommend you do that first.)
