Welcome to the GlobalFoundries / Town of Malta Foundation Website 

The GlobalFoundries / Town of Malta Foundation was developed to fund organizations, programs and projects that provide tangible benefits of a public nature to diverse groups serving the citizens of the Town of Malta.

• In 2011, the Foundation distributed its first round of grant funding by awarding a total of $37,500 to 13 local organizations.

• In 2012, the Foundation awarded grants to 23 local organizations for a total of $60,000 in funding.

• In 2013, the Foundation distributed grant awards to 38 local organizations for a total of $164,000 in funding.

• In 2014, the Foundation distributed $172,915 benefiting 43 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2015, the Foundation distributed $160,853 benefiting 39 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2016, the Foundation distributed $146,583 benefiting 35 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2017, the Foundation distributed $159,000 benefiting 38 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2018, the Foundation distributed $165,500 benefiting 39 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2019, the Foundation distributed $160,437 benefiting 41 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2020, the Foundation distributed $192,964 benefiting 26 local organizations and community projects.

• In 2021, the Foundation distributed $159,767 benefitting 24 local organizations and community projects. 

• In 2022, the Foundation distributed $154,200 benefitting 23 local organizations and community projects. 

• In 2023, the Foundation distributed $144,331 benefitting 30 local organizations and community projects.

Each year, the GlobalFoundries / Town of Malta Foundation will continue to look for projects that are creative, innovative, and inclusive in their scope and opportunities that will provide the maximum amount of benefit to the local Malta community.
