Google Takeout

Leaving Brevard Public Schools? Here's how to take your Google Drive contents with you. If you plan to add your files to a personal Google Drive, be aware that personal Google accounts only have 15GB of free storage. You can purchase additional space from Google or you can take the time to pick and choose which BPS files you wish to take with you.

SPECIAL NOTE TO GRADUATING HS SENIORS & 6TH GRADERS:

Graduating high school seniors and elementary students transitioning to middle school must complete this ASAP, preferably BEFORE their account status changes. It is best to get this done the last week of the school year (usually the last week in May), but no later than June 30th of the year due to account rollover.

You Should Be Signed into your Google Account at home on a personal device because this process involves saving a file to your computer HD.

Do not save files on Brevard Schools computer hard drives.

How To Download Your Files From Google Drive Using a Zip File_2018

AT HOME CTRL-A DIRECTIONS

CTRL-A to create a .ZIP file. Another option if you only need the contents of your Drive. This will NOT include anything in your "Shared with me" or "Shared drives". Anything in those drives that you would like to keep would need to be moved to your Drive first before beginning these steps. These directions reference how students can access their Google accounts.

At Home: Sign into and use your Brevard Schools info instead.
