College Prep Courses
Under Section 28.014 of the Texas Education Code, each school district is required to partner with at least one institution of higher education to develop and provide college preparatory courses in English language arts and mathematics.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for college prep courses negotiated by Region 10 in 2018 expired June 2021.
At this time, school districts have two options for offering the college prep courses: (1) Secure an individual MOU with an institution of higher education or (2) Participate in Texas College Bridge.

Texas College Bridge is an online college preparatory program that fits into existing curriculum, satisfies HB5 requirements, and helps with CCMR A-F accountability.
