Educational Background and Professional Experience:

Hello Del Mar families! I am so excited to be the school counselor at Torrey Hills School and Del Mar Hills Academy this school year. I am a San Diego county high school graduate and went on to receive my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to pursuing my master's degree, I worked with homeless adolescents and young adults at a transitional living program in downtown San Diego. I pursued my Master's degree in counseling with Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential at the University of San Diego (USD). I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and have experience working as a school counselor for elementary, middle and high school students.

Within my role, I offer needs-based short-term individual counseling, classroom guidance lessons, group counseling, and assistance with referrals to additional therapeutic services. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. The school counseling profession is evolving and it is a gift that more schools are offering our services to general education students. I am happy to educate you on the ways I can support your child.

Life Outside of the Ocean & Hawk's Nest

Most of my time outside of school is spent with family and caring for my two young children. I exercise daily, cook often and fit in as many beach days as possible.
