Midweek Mingle: Ensembles and Classes 2022-2023

Wednesday nights are a bright midweek light, an opportunity to connect with your beloved Plymouth Community. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Plymouth’s Wednesday evening programming provides a way for children, youth, and adults to participate in our rich musical and fine arts traditions. Most of Plymouth’s choirs and special ensembles serve the church by performing regularly in Sunday morning worship services throughout the program year. Our staff and instructors believe strongly that all voices can sing, all bodies can dance, and we welcome all people to find a creative home in an ensemble at Plymouth.

- Cherub Choir (grades K–2), 6:00–6:30 p.m.; Room 205; director: Marie Scholtz

Creative Quarterly
Throughout the year, Plymouth will offer four distinct creative experiences, each culminating in a sharing during worship. First, we explore the art of Spoken Word with Pierre Fulford, an artist who teaches us how to access our creativity to tell our stories, often through hip-hop rhythms and traditions. - Fall: Spoken Word Ensemble (grades 3–12), 7:20–8:00 p.m.; Room 205; instructor: Pierre Fulford
Young people and adults are invited to participate in some or all of this year’s Creative Quarterlies: - Christmas: Ringing Ensemble (grades 3-12), 7:20-8:00 p.m.; Room 201; instructor: Eric Kvasnicka
- Midwinter: Winter Revival (ages 0-adult), details TBA!
- Spring: Dance (grades 3–12), details TBA!
All ensembles will meet indoors beginning on September 14 and until further notice. Masking is optional at this time for participants and instructors, although COVID-19 policies will change when necessary to respond to current policies of Plymouth Church.
