London’s creative agency, AGIT8, has unveiled timely and impactful work for ASICS, illustrating how exercise possesses the transformative ability to enhance our mood and cultivate a more positive outlook on the world.
During the winter months, many individuals grapple with lower moods due to the extended periods of darkness. Nevertheless, ASICS’ research underscores that even a brief 15-minute bout of physical activity can significantly elevate spirits.
Drawing inspiration from Rorschach’s renowned inkblot tests, the campaign visually depicts the profound impact movement can have on our mental state. Emulating Rorschach test cards, the images playfully present what a runner might perceive before and after a run. Beyond combating the winter blues, this latest initiative reinforces ASICS’ commitment to spreading the ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy.
The campaign is featured in prominent UK sports, health, and lifestyle publications, as well as on cross-track posters strategically placed at London Underground sites where weary commuters can absorb the uplifting message.
AGIT8’s founder and creative director, Gerry Human, remarked, “It truly is remarkable how exercise can shift your mood, and it’s fantastic that ASICS continues to find innovative ways to encourage people to move – especially during this time of the year when so many of us could use a mental boost.”
