Join us for Bank of Texas Speaker Series: A Global Perspective, featuring a panel discussion offering insight on how global events are shaping the local business environment, economy, news cycles, and policy development. The panel will share how global conflicts and policies are posed to alter the global economic and geopolitical order.
Our esteemed panel of experts includes:
- Ambassador Robert Jordan, US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia (2001-03), Diplomat in Residence and adjunct Professor of Political Studies at Southern Methodist University. A current member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Vice Chair of the Tower Center Board of Directors and the Middle East Institute.
- David Kramer, Executive Director of the George W. Bush Institute. Kramer also served eight years in the U.S. State Department during the George W. Bush administration, including as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs (responsible for Russia, and Ukraine).
- Admiral Patrick M. Walsh, Ph.D., USN (Ret.), President, Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep. Co-founder of The First Watch Group, an organization focused on building coalitions to solve business challenges. Admiral Walsh was the 59th Vice Chief of Naval Operations and Commander of US Pacific Fleet, responsible for the largest naval force in the world.
The discussion will be moderated by Liz Brailsford, President & CEO of the World Affairs Council of DFW.
