Dear Member:
As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the hospitality industry, it becomes increasingly crucial to understand the intricate dynamics of consumer behavior. With this in mind, HANYC is thrilled to extend an invitation to an exclusive webinar aimed at delving into key questions that directly impact our operations, real estate strategies, and sales efforts.
So far this year, Mastercard notes British consumers have continued to increase their share of international visitors to NYC, up 14.9% vs 2023, while Chinese consumers are up 23%, but still down vs 2019 levels. Looking forward to summer, we will talk about the opportunities to engage consumers from Southern Europe, who tend to travel to New York in August.
Event Details: Date: April 30th
Time: 3pm
Location: Zoom Webinar
During this event, we will explore the following important questions:
- Where are consumers coming from? Understanding the origin of our guests provides invaluable insights into market trends, preferences, and potential growth opportunities.
- Where are consumers going in New York? Exploring destination patterns within New York City sheds light on popular attractions, neighborhoods, and areas of interest, enabling us to tailor our services accordingly.
- How has seasonality changed over time? Analyzing seasonal variations in consumer behavior allows us to adapt our strategies to effectively capitalize on peak periods and mitigate challenges during slower seasons.
- How do consumers from different markets travel around New York? Examining borough preferences among diverse consumer segments helps us enhance accessibility and convenience for our guests.
- Where do consumers spend based on their origin market? Identifying spending patterns based on guests’ origin markets enables us to tailor marketing campaigns, amenities, and experiences to meet their specific needs and preferences.
This event promises to be an enlightening and thought-provoking session, providing actionable insights that will empower us to make informed decisions and drive success across all facets of our business.
