Another One

This is a new to me author, but one I've heard a lot about (all good things!) I have to say, I totally loved it! It was a fun, light-hearted romance, that kept me interested from beginning to end. I didn't think it was possible, but this book had both the insta love that draws me in, as well as the slow burn connection that keeps me coming back for more! This book begins with a flash back, to the wedding, of Shana's best friend. There, she meets a man, who makes a definite impression on her. After, she goes back home to London, and he heads to Washington State. They try to keep in touch, but that doesn't last. A year later, Shana is in NYC for work, and they run into each other again. I love how gentlemanly and supportive Trevor is! He and Shana are perfect together! Their instant connection both times they met was amazing. Their chemistry set the pages on fire, and hooked me right from the beginning. I couldn't put it down! This book was fabulous, and I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking for something just a little bit different.

Loved this sweet, light-hearted romance. Another One by Aleatha Romig is, in the words of the author a sweet, lighter side of her writing. As this is shamefully my first book by her, I couldn't agree or disagree, but what I can tell you is this. I loved it. Shana and Trevor's story left me with a huge smile on my face and feeling truly uplifted and happy. This is definitely not a dark romance, or even your angst driven tale. It was just super sweet, gentle, warm and a delight to read. Both characters were honest about their feelings for each other. Trevor was hot and sexy in a nerdy kind of way. He professes to be shy around women but the moment he and Shana connect he becomes the man he's always wanted to be. Unfortunately, their encounter is on the night before Trevor's brother gets married and due to a series of events, he and Shana have to pretend to not know one another. They were like ships passing in the night and after the wedding, they went back to their own lives. Trevor in Washington state and Shana in London, England. A year later, fate brings them back together at a fashion show in New York. Will they finally have a chance to get to know each other? This really was a fun, fast-paced, but realistic story, I loved that they didn't hide their feelings from each other. There was no angst other than for decisions having to be made about Shana's job in London. I enjoyed getting to know these two and the secondary characters whom I've yet to read, but I will be fixing that error shortly.

Excellent writing, a story that's hard to put down. The kind of romance I'd love to experience again someday!
