The sun is out and the weather is delightful. It’s time to head outside and enjoy the warmer temperatures. A great way for families to stay active is exploring the trails of the Great River Greenway. The greenway system includes more than 128 miles of trails—with more being planned—that connect neighborhoods, public parks, and communities throughout the region.
Accessible amenities
The majority of trails are paved and accessible for all, whether you’re biking, hiking, jogging, or rolling through your day. Most trails include amenities such as restrooms, benches, bike racks, and playgrounds. Others offer picnic areas for grilling, sports facilities, and areas with fishing, golfing, and fitness trails.
