Here are the top three stories in Buckhead today:

  1. Thirty-three-year-old Jamichael Jones, the suspect accused of fatally shooting Atlanta rapper Trouble, is now in custody. Investigators were led to Jones's mother's house where they negotiated the pickup time and location of his arrest, which took place at a hospital in Clayton County at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Jones is facing charges for home invasion, felony murder and aggravated assault in connection with the rapper's murder. (11 Alive)
  2. Seniors at the Lenbrook senior living community in Buckhead have found croquet to be the sport people could move to when they are no longer able to play golf. When Lenbrook was embarking on a $100 million expansion project in 2018, residents requested a croquet court. The game of mallets and wickets requires skill but not speed or strength and is ideal for seniors with adaptive equipment, like a walker or crane. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  3. A tree fell down on Huntingdon Road and Wakefield Drive NE in the Brookwood Hills neighborhood of Buckhead after storms moved through on Monday afternoon. The tree fell into a resident's yard but did not damage the home. (11Alive.com WXIA)
