2019-20: Qualified for his third-straight NCAA Championships, his second with ODU … Finished the season 18-11, 10-8 in dual action … Finished the season ranked in three national polls, topping out at No. 18 according to Intermat … Placed fourth at the MAC Wrestling Championships … Earned four wins against ranked opponents … Earned a 7-3 win by decision over No. 8 Grant Leeth of Missouri during the South Beach Duals … Defeated Kyle Shoop of Lock Haven twice, who was ranked in the top-15 in both instances … Was named MAC Wrestler of the Week on December 31 after a 3-1 performance at the South Beach Duals ... Named VaSID Wrestling Second Team All-State.

2018-19: 2019 NCAA Qualifier going 1-2 in Pittsburgh at 141 lbs... Nationally ranked the entire season... Compiled a 24-10 overall record and a 11-5 record in duals... Defeated #7 Dom Demas of Oklahoma on Jan. 12 at the Virginia Duals... Took fifth at the MAC Championship.

2017-18: All-American at 141 pounds placing eighth at the NCAA Championships in Cleveland, Ohio. Fifth overall All-American in EMU history. Pinned his way through the MAC Championship placing third and earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. Finished his season 18-19, going 3-3 at the NCAA Tournament. 

2016-17: 133-pound starter posting a 10-11 record. 

2015-16: Redshirt year wrestling unattached at 141 pounds... Went 13-9.

High School: Collected a 119-14 career record in high school.. Posted an undefeated record in 2015 and was the FHSAA 2A State Champion. 

Personal: Son of Angelica Thomas... Has one older brother, Kavoriou and two younger brothers, Henry and Niamonte Perry... A hardcore video gamer... Majoring in psychology.

Why ODU? "I chose ODU because I felt that it hit my two big points; being closer to home and has a coaching staff to elevate my game to make a run for a national title."
