WIC SERVICES

WIC is a Supplemental Nutrition Program for low income women, infants and children. This program helps pregnant women, postpartum women and young children (less than 5 years of age) eat well and stay healthy.

WIC Benefits

The following benefits are provided to WIC participants:

 

Nutritious Food

WIC provides foods that are high in Vitamin A and C, calcium, iron and protein.

Nutrition Counseling

WIC participants receive personalized nutrition counseling and group classes.

Screening & Referrals

Referrals to Health care, Social Services and other community programs.
