Since the Coronavirus began to invade our lives and restrict our lifestyles, many of us have struggled with the onslaught of frightening messages and the negative effects of social isolation.
Many community members have communicated their need for increased support and guidance.
During this public emergency period, we will be offering our Long Island Peer Networking Meeting Bi-weekly online and by phone

and Ralph Matalone, Peer Support Line Peer Specialist.
“This Hour the Music will Heal and Empower”
"This workshop today will be facilitated by Ralph Matalone, New York Certified Peer Specialist, currently working at the Peer Support Line for MHAW. He will be discussing his life long journey in an abusive and isolated world and how music became his saving grace, his survival, his strength and a true gift he acquired from childhood to the present moment.
For what Ralph lost he gained something that is priceless and wants to share it with the world. A very deep soul that spent almost all of his life with his ears and his heart in front of a radio and a record player absorbing song after song in his heart and his head as if he were a human book of music and he is. Ralph is an extremely nostalgic human being who gained a very deep knowledge and understanding of music and all things nostalgia. His deepest love is Rock N Roll and Classic Rock.
