o Graduating senior
o 2.0 GPA or greater
o Must attend Cottonwood, Cyprus, Granger, Granite Connection, Hunter, Kearns, Olympus, Skyline, or Taylorsville High School
• Narrative description:
The Granite Education Foundation Scholarship provides financial support to students who are marginalized due to financial hardships through its scholarship fund. The organization provides students with the financial ability to attend at least one semester of a higher education institution. The Granite Education Foundation Scholarship believes in enabling students with the opportunity of higher education in an effort to empower individuals with the support and encouragement to excel both academically and personally.
Applicants must be a current senior at a Granite School District High School and must have been accepted to a not-for-profit college, university, or technical school.
The winner must enroll in at least 12 credit hours in college (or the equivalent full-time enrollment at technical college) in order to be eligible to use this award. The winner may defer the scholarship for up to 2 years if they are planning to delay college enrollment in order to serve in the military or serve on a religious or humanitarian mission. A request for a scholarship award deferment must be submitted in writing and clearly state the reason and length of time needed (not to exceed 2 years).
A student may be awarded a scholarship for a period of one semester. A scholarship will not exceed $1,000 total. A scholarship award will be used only for tuition and will be paid directly to the educational institution. In the event of untimely withdrawal from school, a repayment plan to the Foundation must be discussed.
Jay Lynn Bowen Memorial Scholarship

As part of Teleperformance's Citizen of the World philanthropic program, which makes a positive difference in people's lives and makes the world a better place, the Alan Truitt Force of Good initiative will provide funding for students to pursue higher education. The program honors the legacy of Alan Truitt, an inspiring, courageous leader and exceptional friend. His passion and desire to help and encourage others is a true inspiration to everyone who had the opportunity to know him. This important initiative ensures that Alan's memory and spirit will live on in our hearts through its positive impact on the lives of children receiving support.
