MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee women's basketball team has set the date for the 23rd Annual Golf Classic on Friday, August 11 at Songbird Hills Golf Club in Hartland, Wisconsin.
 
All participants will receive an exclusive Panther item, can meet current Panther players and coaches, and participate in silent and live auctions with proceeds going to the women's basketball program.
 
Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals, families, and organizations. Major sponsorships include entry fees for four golfers and all sponsors will feature signage on the course and recognition. Gifts to Milwaukee Athletics and the outing are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
 
Contributions to outings in the past have helped provide the Panthers with a high-level college experience such as new locker room renovations, participation in postseason tournaments, iPads for film, and countless other valuable experiences.
 
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on August 11, with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Following the round of golf, a reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. Individual golf registration is $150, while a foursome is $550. Women's basketball alumni can register for $100.
