MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee women's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule for the 2021-22 season on Wednesday morning, which will feature three games at the Klotsche Center. The Panthers begin year's campaign on the road on November 9.
Milwaukee will open the year at Ball State, having won five straight contests against the Cardinals. The Panthers will then host North Dakota State at the Klotsche Center on November 11 for their home opener. The Bison put together a solid campaign a year ago, winning 15 games and reaching the Summit League Championship.
On November 14, Milwaukee heads to Tallahassee to take on Florida State in a return trip from the 2018-19 season. The Seminoles have solid experience across the board with 11 upperclassmen on the roster.
Following opening weekend of Horizon League play, Wisconsin is back on the schedule for Milwaukee for the fifth time in six seasons. The two will meet at the Klotsche Center the day before Thanksgiving (November 24).
That next weekend, Milwaukee hits the road for DeKalb, Illinois to face Northern Illinois, a team the Panthers have beat in nine of the last 11 matchups.
On December 8, the Panthers return home with cross-town rival Marquette. Last year, MKE topped the Golden Eagles for their first win against the foe down the road since 2008.
Milwaukee then wraps up the non-conference slate on Tuesday, December 14 with a trip to Evanston, Illinois to battle Northwestern.
