Panthers Enter Postseason as No. 2 Seed

The Horizon League announced the complete bracket on Saturday

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee women's basketball team claimed a share of the Horizon League regular season championship with Wright State and will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed.
 
Milwaukee finished the regular season 18-6 overall with a 15-5 mark in Horizon League play. Based on the League's seeding formula, Wright State edged out Milwaukee for the top seed.
 
With the No. 2 seed, the Panthers earned a First Round bye and will face the second lowest-remaining seed on Tuesday, March 2 at the Klotsche Center.
 
First round matchups for the Horizon League Tournament include No. 6 Cleveland State hosting No. 11 UIC, No. 7 Youngstown State against No. 10 Purdue Fort Wayne, and No. 8 Northern Kentucky versus No. 9 Robert Morris.
 
Wright State will host the lowest-remaining seed on Tuesday while No. 3 Green Bay will welcome the highest-remaining seed after the First Round. No. 4 Oakland and No. 5 will face off in the quarterfinals.
 
The final four teams will advance to Indianapolis and #REACHtheHORIZON on March 8-9 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
