Mackenzie Schill of the Milwaukee women's soccer team have been named members of the 2021 Academic All-America® Division I Women's Soccer Team, the organization announced Friday.

Official CoSIDA Release
Schwartz earned a spot on the First Team Academic All-America squad, just the second MKE women's soccer player to make the top squad all-time. A 2021 and 2019 All-Horizon League First Team member and 2021 United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First-Team honoree, she started all 21 games for the Panthers this year, helping the team post an NCAA-leading 0.37 goals-against average and 16 shutouts in those 21 contests. Despite her role as a backline defender, she again contributed heavily on offense, leading the nation at the NCAA Division I level with a new school record of 19 assists. It's the third straight season she topped the conference in the category. She finished with 23 points (adding a pair of goals) and also set a new MKE career assist record, concluding her career with 42.
A member of the Dean's List and Horizon League Academic Honor Roll every semester, Schwartz has already earned her undergraduate degree in finance and marketing and is now completing her MBA with a perfect GPA of 4.0 over her five-plus years of college and post-grad schooling combined.
Schill, a finance and marketing double-major as an undergrad who has a 3.74 GPA and is currently working on her Business Administration MBA, earned a spot on the Second Team Academic All-America squad. The honor caps an impressive list of achievements for Schill this fall. She was named the 2021 Horizon League Player of the Year, as well as the Offensive Player of the Year, to the First Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team. Schill really made her mark on her final campaign, ranking 29
th in the NCAA with a league-best 12 goals and 38
th with her HL-best 29 points. She also became the career games-played leader for the Panthers, finishing with 91 to break the former mark of 87.
The duo become the 24
