The MKE men's program is coming off a season in which it played its way into the Horizon League Tournament semifinals, earning the title of "Team Comeback" along the way. The Panthers recorded wins in four different games in which they trailed by 10-or-more points, including the thrilling 24-point comeback against Wright State in the postseason that ended up the second-largest deficit EVER overcome during the final five minutes of a contest in NCAA history.
The men's team will play 15 games at home in the regular season, as well as an exhibition contest against MSOE October 30. The home opener is set for November 13 against Eastern Kentucky, which is also Homecoming for the UWM campus.
The women put together one of the best seasons in program history in 2020-21, finishing 20-8 overall record and 15-5 in league play to clinch a share of the Horizon League Championship for the third time in program history. Milwaukee had its best start in program history (15-1) and was receiving votes in the
USA Today/AP Poll for the first time in program history. The Panthers received a bid to the postseason WNIT Tournament and reached the second round following a win over Drake.
Fourteen regular-season home games are part of the women's basketball schedule. Highlighting this year's slate are visits from Wisconsin November 24 and Marquette December 8. The women also face Horizon League rival Green Bay on January 23.
In addition to single-game tickets, season ticket, mini-plan packages, and group tickets are all on sale and available for the upcoming season. For more information, please call the general MKE Ticket Office line (414) 229-5886.
