Our Story
The MIYFS Foundation was established in 1989 to increase private funding towards MIYFS Services.
The MIYFS Foundation funding is critical to the breadth and quality of services MIYFS can deliver. The Foundation provides 20-25% of the funding for the MIYFS department and due to the support of the Mercer Island community, increased funding in 2022 to add a mental health counselor to the school-based mental health counseling program.
