A nearly 40-year-old property management company has put down roots in the Springfield market.
Rolla-based Investment Realty Inc. on June 1 opened a Springfield branch at 3250 E. Battlefield Road, Ste. Q, in Fox Grape Plaza, said owner and President Mike Woessner. He said the company signed a two-year lease deal for undisclosed terms to occupy 1,500 square feet. The contract includes options for lease extensions.
"The Springfield-Branson area, just from the sheer size of it, was interesting,” Woessner said of expanding into the market. “Springfield is just one of those communities that is sought after as far as quality of life. It’s always been one of the bright spots in our state.”
Founded in 1984 by Woessner, Investment Realty's portfolio comprises more than 3,000 units in the single and multifamily residential spaces, as well as commercial and farm properties. Woessner said Investment Realty this week signed its first deal in the Springfield market for an undisclosed property.
The two-employee office in Springfield is led by Shane Crawford, who moved from Rolla to lead the local branch, Woessner said.
The company expanded to St. Robert in 2013 to serve the Fort Leonard Wood community.
The Republic School District is on track to open its Intermediate School for fifth- and sixth-grade students for the 2025-26 academic year.
