International Aviation Womens Association 33rd Annual Conference - “Industry Interrupted: Emerging Into the Next Normal”

Theme: “Industry Interrupted: Emerging Into the Next Normal”

Description: Without question, the aerospace and aviation industry withstood and adapted to the repercussions of the global pandemic, but we‘re still reeling from its effects and will be for the foreseeable future. Simultaneously, our world as a society experienced an elevated emphasis on diversity, inclusivity, equality and belonging issues in the past few years, and female leaders have been given the platform to further these discussions across various industries, with other minority organizations, and throughout the world. IAWA will once again bring together – in-person and online – some of the most brilliant minds for insight, relevance, and value at its 33rd annual conference in Charleston, SC, USA on October 13-15. The IAWA annual conference is the world‘s leading gathering for women in the aviation and aerospace industry and a must-attend event for women in leadership and management roles in the industry as well as male advocates. Please join us in Charleston or virtually for inspiring and informative keynote speakers, interactive and lively panels, varied educational programming, and excellent networking opportunities. Hotel only available for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received on September 28 or earlier will receive a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations after that date; however, substitute registrants are welcome at any time. No refunds for virtual registration, but you may upgrade your virtual conference registration to an in-person at any time. To cancel your registration, substitute another individual, or switch to in-person please contact IAWA at info@iawa.org or call 856-599-8100. Hotel refunds and cancellations for hotel accommodations must be made through the hotel.

Covid-19 Protocols
 
IAWA will follow the Charleston Marriott’s protocols to provide a safe environment for all attendees. Consistent with the most recent CDC guidance, fully vaccinated attendees are not required to wear face coverings or social distance in indoor or outdoor areas of the hotel. Those who are not vaccinated will need to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when they are in public spaces. 
  • Signage throughout the hotel remind guests to maintain social distancing, occupancy limits and seating capacities in compliance with local and state mandates, and partitions are installed at front desks and food and beverage service lines.
  • No valet service is currently available for parking.
  • Several enhancements to cleaning practices throughout the property and in guest rooms, are in place including: increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection in public common areas and meetings spaces, enhanced technologies including electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants to support cleanliness protocols, disinfectant wipes available in the room for every arriving guest as well as upon request and in the meeting rooms, and no in-room coffee makers but guests can request contactless coffee delivery.
  • Appropriate PPE use for food handling is in effect as well as compliance with all Marriott International and industry food safety protocols.
  • Every guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to arrival. Housekeeping cleaning services are offered after the third night and while guests are away. Additional daily cleaning is available upon request to the hotel staff.
