SAFETY GLASSES ATTENDANTS:
Each team needs to bring enough safety glasses for your team and visitors. You will also need to designate two students for each 1.5 hour shift assigned to your team for safety glasses attendant duty. The schedule will be sent to you prior to the event. If you need to switch your scheduled time, please let us know at check-in or Pit admin.
PUBLIC PARKING: Parking at Smith-Cotton High School is free and unlimited.

BUS PARKING AND TEAM DROP OFF:  Team drop off is indicated by the blue arrows on the map. Please review the map for bus and spectator parking.

ROBOT LOAD IN and Pit Setup:  See map for Robot Load In/Out (labelled as Team Load In/Out but is just for Robot and 5 team members). Please Click Here for Robot Load In and Pit Setup directions and map.
FIRST Store and Custom T-Shirts at the Central MO Regional:
The official FIRST STORE will be on site selling official FIRST apparel on Saturday from 9am - 3pm!
MENTOR LOUNGE: We will once again be providing a Mentor Lounge!  It will be located in room B101.  This area is restricted to those that have a Mentor Pass and is not open to students.  Your team will receive Mentor Lounge Passes in the packet you will receive on Thursday March 23.
STUDENT PRESS PASSES - FIELD ACCESS:  There will be one Student Press Representative from each team that will be allowed on the field during his/her team's matches.  Each team will be given one press pass in their team information packets during registration on Thursday March 23. One person (student or adult) at a time may use the press pass during his/her team's matches to be close to the action and take photos.  Click Here for the very important rules for using this press pass.
FACTS FOR MEDIA AND PRESS
We encourage teams to promote the Central Missouri Regional FIRST Robotics Competition and your team's participation through your school newspaper, school and community calendars, and neighborhood new media outlets.  Please note: During the Regional, all outside media representatives are asked to check in at the event (near the main Gym entry) and contact Callen Zind or 816-564-9511.
PAPER WORK: Teams need to have all your students on your team dashboard. Please complete the paper Consent and Release Form ONLY if you are NOT submitting an electronic version via your FIRST dashboard.  Remember, you will need to submit one (1) form for your Regional event per participant (in addition to what you submitted for Kick-off).  These forms (either electronic via your FIRST dashboard or hard copy and brought to the event) are required for each participant, student or adult.
PIT POWER SAFETY:  Please be aware that daisy chaining power strips to one another is strictly prohibited.  Safety inspectors and other authorized staff and volunteers will be observing Pits to ensure this is not occurring.
NO WIFI Access for Teams will exist within the venue.
Well that's everything we've got for you right now! The final informational email will come out early next week.

Best Regards and Stay Safe,

On behalf of the Kansas City Regional Planning Committee,
Robert Dumler
