Students will analyze plot elements, explain the influence of setting including historical and cultural settings on the plot.

Writing/Grammar

Students will understand and apply verbs in their writing including irregular verbs. Students will begin composing a fiction story.

Science/Social Studies

Students will identify characteristics of Texas regions.
