GSC McDonough students now have an exciting new Student Union to utilize while taking courses at the McDonough site inside the Academy for Advanced Studies. The new union will provide a space for students to study, socialize, receive assistance, or grab a snack.
Formerly the Henry County High School media center, the new space now occupies Gordon State College and Clayton State University's staff offices, student technology, vending machines, two group study/conference rooms, and a break room for faculty and staff.
"We're thrilled that our students now have a large student union to take a break, study, or work between classes." Dr. Ric Calhoun AVP said. "We're looking forward to the students return this Fall and know the space will be bustling with activity come August!"
Congratulations to the 2021 GSC Henry County
