Description
This eWorkshop is designed for K- 12 educators who teach or support multilingual learners (MLs) in social studies/social science courses. Participants will engage through reading, viewing, and reflecting on ways to leverage multilingual learners' assets in an inquiry-based approach to learning social studies/social science content. Participants will develop and/or strengthen their understanding and skills in using an inquiry-based approach and will explore the use of questions, tasks, and sources to support multilingual learners use of language to make meaning through inquiry.

Finding the Self-Paced eWorkshops in the WIDA Secure Portal
- Access the WIDA Secure Portal.
- Click on “WIDA eLearning” and that will take you to the eLearning “Dashboard.”
- Scroll to the Self-Paced eWorkshop tile and click on the course link OR use the left hand navigation bar, click on "Courses", and then click on the course link.
