**With the passage of SB 124 on April 8, 2022, Kentucky driver's license holders who have been expired for more than one (1) year but less than five (5) years will no longer be required to take the written knowledge and vision tests to renew their license.
**If the license is expired for more than five (5) years the driver will be required to start over as a new driver.
