FTA will pay up to $250 per credit and 16 semester hours per fiscal year (Oct - Sept) in tuition expenses. This benefit may be used in conjunction with other educational benefits. Please note this is not a guaranteed benefit. This program has a finite budget and is paid on a first come, first served basis. Please apply early.
This program is available for active duty, Reserve, and National Guard members. Check with your unit for eligibility. In order to receive payment for a course, the course must be completed prior to your separation from any of the above mentioned military components.
Note 1: Depending on which internet browser you are using, you may need to add a "Security Exception" when prompted to view the official government site(s).
New changes to the FTA application may require you to log in with your Common Access Card.
