When i joined Maersk in 1980 as COO in Maersk Belgium - Antwerp my friends asked me: "what are you going to do at that little Danish Shipping Company" Ignited by a.o. Flemming Jacobs, Ib Kruse, Mr Moller and Henrik Sort and many other colleagues i said: "I believe in their project, I am young and have nothing to loose" It was - together with marrying my misses - the best decision i ever made and the project lasted for over 32 years. Success to the Maersk Team and keep the pace while fostering also my legacy. Still Proudly Maersk DNA.
