International Conference on Statistical Distributions and Applications (ICOSDA 2022)

Submission of the articles presented at the ICOSDA 2022 for consideration of publication in the ICOSDA 2022 Special Collection of the Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice (JSTP) (https://www.springer.com/journal/42519) is by invitation only. The submitted papers will go through the same peer-review process as regular submissions to the journal.   • Narayanaswamy Balakrishnan

    Narayanaswamy Balakrishnan is a Distinguished University Professor in the Dept of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University, and a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He has authored over 800 articles and 26 books including the well-known 4-volume set Distributions in Statistics by John Wiley & Sons. His research interests include distribution theory, reliability analysis, industrial statistics, stochastic modeling, biostatistics, statistical inference, and applications of statistics to science and engineering. In 2021, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

  • Indranil Ghosh

    Indranil Ghosh is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Univ. of North Carolina Wilmington. His doctoral degree is in Applied Statistics. He is the author of numerous research papers in refereed journals and has co-authored or edited a number of books in the areas of statistical distributions and applications. Dr. Ghosh is a member of many professional organizations, notably, the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and the American Statistical Association (ASA) among a few others. He is a regular reviewer for a large number of reputable journals and books in the field of statistical sciences.

  • Hon Keung Ng

    Hon Keung Tony Ng is a Professor in the Dept of Mathematical Sciences at Bentley University. His research interests include reliability, censoring methodology, network analysis, nonparametric methods, ordered data analysis, and statistical inference. Dr. Ng has published more than 150 research papers in refereed journals and has co-authored/co-edited eight books. He serves as Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for different scientific journals in statistics and engineering, including Comm. in Stats, and Computational Stats among others. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.

  • Kalimuthu Krishnamoorthy

    Kalimuthu Krishnamoorthy is Philip and Jean Piccione Endowed Chair in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is an elected fellow of the American Statistical Association. He has authored and co-authored more than 120 papers and two books including the one on Statistical Tolerance Regions published by Wiley. His research interest includes statistical tolerance region, statistical methods for occupational exposure data analysis, small sample inference for discrete distributions, multivariate statistics, and fiducial inference. He is an associate editor for Communications in Statistics.

  • Helton Saulo

    Dr. Helton Saulo is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the University of Brasilia, Brazil. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He undertook postdoctoral studies in Statistics at McMaster University, Canada, under the supervision of Prof. N. Balakrishnan. His research interests include statistical quality control, univariate and multivariate distribution theory, statistical modeling, survival analysis, and financial econometrics. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Statistics, Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice, and Chilean Journal of Statistics.
