Introduction to LaTeX with Overleaf *ON ZOOM*

Presented by Seth Vuletich and Patrick Farrell

Formatting documents for publication with most word processors can be challenging. LaTeX is a powerful typesetting system commonly used in STEM fields to aid in document preparation by separating text from formatting. This introductory workshop led by Seth Vuletich and Patrick Farrell will provide participants with the basic knowledge necessary to get started with LaTeX using Overleaf, a cloud-based LaTeX application.

This workshop is part of the Modern Research 501 workshop series. The Modern Researcher 501 is a workshop series aiming to provide early career researchers with tips, tools, and best practices across the research lifecycle.

The series is hosted weekly by Seth Vuletich, Scholarly Communications Librarian, and Roel Snieder, Director of the Center for Professional Development Education.
