Grass-Fed Beef, Pork, & Lamb
We offer our very own Certified Devon Beef, pastured pork, lamb, and chicken. We also carry farm fresh eggs, local honey, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and a variety of locally made retail items that you won't find anywhere else!
Our Certified Devon Beef has 1/2 the saturated fat of its competitors and 4 times the beta carotene and Vitamin E. It is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid. Taste, texture, and tenderness...it's all right here at Lakota Ranch!
Certified Devon Beef
All cattle start out eating grass, but our grass-fed beef cattle are raised eating ONLY grass. What a cow eats can significantly affect the nutrient composition of its beef. Grass-fed beef usually contains less total fat than grain-fed beef, and contains fewer calories. Grass-fed beef contains much less monounsaturated fat, is rich in Omega-6 polyunsaturated fats, and has up to 5 times as much Omega-3s.

Come visit our store. We are open dawn til dusk, 7 days a week. Our petting zoo includes goats, sheep, our very famous pot belly pig, chickens, ducks, donkeys, peacocks, and more! We also have corn on hand for feeding our furry friends.

Our farm is located on 726 acres in the rolling hills of Virginia. We are home to the oldest and most prominent Devon beef cattle herd in the country. We have been long recognized for the grass fed beef produced by our Devon cattle. We focus on high quality cattle that are functionally efficient and produce high quality grass fed beef. -Our farm store is open to the public. All of our meat products are individually wrapped, packaged and sold frozen.
- We offer local delivery every Tuesday and Thursday (or by appointment) of all products within a 25 miles radius of Lakota Ranch (Remington, VA) *delivery fee applies
- Buy any product online & pickup at our store. Your items will be ready within 4 hours of purchase (or sooner upon request).
-If you are placing an order online to have products shipped to you, you MUST choose overnight or 1 business day guaranteed shipping in order to receive your products arrive frozen or cold...we will not reimburse you for products that arrive thawed if you choose regular USPS or UPS business delivery. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about which shipping options to choose!

Board your dog while you're away! Boarding is available for day or night. Our kennel is an outdoor facility, with a covered area for eating and sleeping. We have lots of outdoor area for your furry friend to play! Check out our website!

Where can you find our product?
Our beef is featured at the award winning Early Mountain Vineyard in Madison, Va., along with our farm fresh eggs. Look for our beef, pork, lamb, chicken and eggs at the Natural Marketplace in Warrenton, Va. & taste our eggs at the famous Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Va.
FAQs
Do you have a petting zoo? YES! Its free to the public : ) We have goats, chickens, turkeys, peacocks, pot belly pig, ducks, pigeons, and more!
Is there a charge to come visit? NO! We invite you to come see the farm and the animals.
Can I bring my own food and drink? YES. We have picnic tables and seating for you to use.
What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, check, Venmo, all major credit cards.
How does your Honor System work? If we are not present in the store, we ask that you fill out a receipt and leave your money in our drop box located inside the store. All items are priced in the store. Directions for using the honor system are on the counter in the store.
Do you sell whole/half beef? YES. Our price for 2024 is $5.95/lb hanging weight (this includes processing). Please message us for more information.
