• This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of financial reporting and analysis within a dynamic Group of Companies. This role will primarily focus on providing comprehensive support to the Financial Controller and Group Financial Controller in various accounting tasks.

• Financial Acumen: o Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. o Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports. o Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines and targets. • Technology Proficiency: o Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft excel. o Ability to learn and adapt to new financial tools and technologies. • Communication: o Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Analytical Skills: o Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. o Capacity to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights. • Team Player: o Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment. o Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. o Flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Prepare and post journal entries for general financial accounting. o Processes invoices for payment, ensuring the necessary approvals are attained. o Monitor banking activities and ensure compliance with financial policies. o Manage the fixed asset register, including properly accounting for fixed asset acquisitions, disposals and executing depreciation runs to accurately book monthly depreciation charges. o Perform account reconciliations and maintain intercompany transactions to efficiently track account activity. o Support in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management. o Engage in accounting research to support decision-making processes. o Prepare audit schedules and provide ongoing support for Group audits. o Contribute to the drafting of policies and mapping out accounting processes. o Assist in the implementation of accounting and reporting software. o Collaborate with other Group companies and provide financial assistance where required. o Handle routine administrative tasks, including filing and document organization. o Provide other assistance to the department where necessary, to meet the overall objectives of the department and the vision of the Group. • QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: o Pursuing ACCA, CPA, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (must have attained level one or completed year one). o At least one year’s work experience in an accounting environment will be an asset.
