The Sunday Show first hour looks at the situation in Haiti after President Jovenal Moise’s assassination July 7th with guests:

Jocelyn Gay, a radio show host based in New York, originally from Haiti.  Shows include “Contradiction” and “Radio Amazone” on Haitian and global politics and “Koze Fanm” and “Ledikasyon Fanm” on women’s issues.
Jake Johnston, a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research and lead author of CEPR’s Haiti: Relief and Reconstruction Watch blog.

Franciscka Lucien, Executive Director of the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, which promotes accountability and human rights in the country with its Haiti-based partner, the Bureau des Avocats Internationaux.

The Haiti Action Committee is holding a fundraiser for Haiti grassroots groups July 24th.

The Sunday Show second hour looks at COVID-19 and the spread of the Delta Variant across the country with Dr. Stuart Ray, Infectious Diseases expert at Johns Hopkins University, which is tracking, treating and researching the coronavirus.  Dr. Ray is a physician and scientist at Johns Hopkins, and he’s a professor of its division of infectious diseases.
